Yerevan, February 25 – Four fire and rescue squads of the Yerevan City Rescue Department have been reequipped with modern fire trucks, a move aimed at significantly enhancing the operational capabilities and response efficiency of the service. The announcement was made following a visit by Aram Ghazaryan, Director of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, to the Yerevan City Rescue Department.

Deputy Minister Ghazaryan’s visit, accompanied by his deputies, focused on familiarizing himself with the organization of the service, the preparedness of the personnel, and their operational response capabilities. He toured the department’s premises, assessed working conditions, and specifically visited Fire and Rescue Squad No. 3.
Gevorg Galstyan, Head of the Yerevan City Rescue Department, presented the technical means of the unit to the Director of the Service and discussed challenges encountered during service.
