YEREVAN, March 28 – A new football academy will be built in Martuni, a town in Armenia’s Gegharkunik Province. This development was announced by Gegharkunik Governor Karen Sargsyan on his Facebook page, as reported by “Armenpress”.

Governor Sargsyan confirmed the plans after visiting the proposed construction site on Getapnya Street in Martuni. He was accompanied by Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khoudatyan, Football Federation President Armen Melikbekyan, and other partners.
“Together with Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Davit Khoudatyan, Football Federation President Armen Melikbekyan, and other partners, we visited Getapnya Street in Martuni to inspect the area where a football academy is planned to be built in the near future,” Sargsyan wrote on his social media.
