Armenian Weightlifting Championship Kicks Off in Yerevan

Yerevan, February 14 – The Armenian Weightlifting Championship 2026 began yesterday in Yerevan, bringing together 110 weightlifters from across the country. The opening ceremony was held on February 13 at the Sports Management Center, marking the start of a significant event in the national sports calendar.

Opening Ceremony and Participation

The championship, a key event for Armenian weightlifting, commenced with an official opening ceremony. A total of 110 weightlifters are participating, showcasing the depth of talent within the sport in Armenia.
