Armenia’s Top Taxpayers Boost State Budget by Nearly Half a Billion Dollars in 2025
Yerevan, January 27 – The contribution of Armenia’s top one thousand taxpayers to the state budget in 2025 recorded an impressive increase, rising by almost half a billion dollars compared to the previous year. According to data published by the State Revenue Committee, the total payments from large businesses amounted to more than $5.12 billion, exceeding the 2024 figure by approximately $456.7 million.
Leading Contributors to the State Budget
The annual summary list was led by “Mobile Centre” company, followed by “Grand Tobacco” and the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZPMK). Tax revenues accounted for about $4.16 billion, while customs payments provided another $963.7 million to the state treasury.
These figures indicate an increase in economic activity and the effectiveness of tax revenue collection. For comparison, in 2024, the contribution of large taxpayers amounted to approximately $4.66 billion. The recorded growth extends to both internal taxes and customs revenues from foreign trade.
