YEREVAN, March 5 – An explosion and subsequent collapse occurred in a garage located in Yerevan’s Mayak district today, leaving one person injured. The alarm was raised at 07:30 AM, prompting an immediate response from the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service, the 112 operational management center received a call at 07:30 AM reporting an explosion in a garage in the Mayak district of Yerevan, with a casualty. A fire and rescue squad from the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service was dispatched to the scene.
Initial reports indicate that the explosion led to the collapse of the second floor of a two-story garage. One person sustained injuries in the incident.
