Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan Presents Major Urban Development Projects to Bank Executives
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan has presented the capital’s large-scale urban development investment projects to the heads of Armenian banks. As reported by Armenpress, citing the Yerevan Municipality’s press release, Avinyan emphasized the establishment and development of community-private cooperation, stating that the banking system is not only a driving force for economic activity but also a socially responsible partner.
Specifically, various projects aimed at neighborhood reconstruction, residential complex construction, and urban environment improvement were discussed. The Mayor reiterated that effective cooperation allows for the alignment of community priorities and the potential of the private sector, enabling the implementation of various joint infrastructure development programs.
“These important projects for selecting a construction company, by the way, will soon be put up for tender. They are available on the GIS geographical information system, on the investment projects platform,” the Municipality’s press release stated.
Tigran Avinyan thanked all the banks that have already become reliable partners of Yerevan and will actively participate in the implementation of important projects for the city. The Mayor expressed confidence that the circle of partner banks will expand further in the near future.
