YEREVAN, February 9. /ARKA/. Traffic restrictions will be implemented on several streets in Yerevan on February 9 and 10 to ensure the safety of participants in state protocol events, the police reported. The measures coincide with the official visit of US Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, to the Republic of Armenia.

Details of the Traffic Restrictions

On February 9, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, traffic will be restricted on Baghramyan Avenue, specifically from the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue-Proshyan Street to the intersection of Baghramyan Avenue-Moskovyan Street.

Additionally, on both February 9 and 10, traffic will be restricted at various times on Abovyan Street, from the intersection of Abovyan-Tumanyan Streets to Republic Square, and on Pushkin Street, from the intersection of Pushkin-Koghbatsi Streets to Sakharov Square.

“Dear citizens, we apologize for the temporary inconvenience caused,” the police statement read.

The US Vice President and his wife are on an official visit to Armenia from February 9-10. This evening, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is scheduled to meet with the US Vice President, after which they will make statements.
