YEREVAN, March 12 – A fire broke out yesterday morning, March 11, in a coffee production warehouse situated on Nor Aresh 19th Street in Yerevan. The alarm was received by the 112 operational management center at 08:27 AM, prompting an immediate response from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Rescue Service.
Emergency Response and Containment
Two fire and rescue teams from the MIA Rescue Service’s Yerevan City Rescue Department were dispatched to the scene. Their swift action led to the fire being contained by 08:53 AM and fully extinguished by 09:00 AM.
Extent of Damage
According to reports from the MIA Rescue Service to NEWS.am, the fire caused damage to the suspended ceiling, electrical cables, coffee and paper bags, and partially to an air conditioner. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported as a result of the incident.
Ongoing Investigations
The exact cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the relevant authorities. Further details are expected as the investigation progresses.
