Planned Water Outage in Yerevan’s Ajapnyak District

YEREVAN, March 19 – A planned water outage is scheduled for today, March 19, in numerous addresses within one of Yerevan’s administrative districts. The disruption, lasting 5.5 hours, is due to emergency works being carried out by Veolia Jur company.

The water supply will be suspended from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM in the Ajapnyak administrative district of Yerevan. This temporary measure is necessary to facilitate urgent repair works on the water supply network.

The following streets and their adjacent alleys in the Ajapnyak district will be affected by the water outage:

  • Kh. Khachatryan Street and its 1st and 2nd alleys
  • V. Vshtuni Street and its 1st-5th alleys

  • Chukhajyan Street
  • Grigor Zohrap Street
  • Sisakyan Street
  • G. Hakobyants Street
  • G. Hasratyan Street
  • Karapetyan Street

  • Hasmik Street
  • Sport Street
  • Ara Sargsyan Street
  • Rustamyan Street
  • Mirakyan Street
  • Otyan Street
  • Shahumyan 17th Street and its 1st alley

Veolia Jur has issued a statement asking for the consumers’ understanding and apologizing for any inconvenience caused by this necessary work.

This water outage is a standard procedure for maintaining and repairing the city’s water infrastructure, ensuring reliable service in the long term. Residents in the affected areas are advised to store sufficient water for their needs during the scheduled disruption.
