YEREVAN, August 13 – Law enforcement officials in Yerevan are continuing their search for the mother of a newborn baby discovered abandoned on Halabyan Street. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, the mother has not yet been found, and efforts to locate her are ongoing.

The incident came to light on August 10, when the operational management center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received an alarm at 8:43 PM. The report indicated that a newborn child, wrapped in cloth, was found near building 13 on Halabyan Street in Yerevan.

Upon receiving the report, the police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs immediately initiated necessary measures to clarify all circumstances surrounding the abandonment. The primary focus of the investigation has been to identify and locate the mother of the infant.
