Yerevan, April 23 – The Yerevan City Hall has announced that free transportation will be provided to the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex on April 24, 2026, to facilitate public attendance at the Armenian Genocide commemoration events. The services will operate from 8:30 AM to 10:00 PM, departing from the area adjacent to the “Hrazdan” Stadium.
Routes for Free Transportation to Tsitsernakaberd
Two primary routes have been designated to ensure efficient and convenient access for visitors:
Route 1: “Hrazdan” Stadium to “Zoravar Andranik” Metro Station
This route will commence from the “Hrazdan” Stadium, proceeding along Athens Street, Victory Bridge, Argishti, Italy, Khorenatsi, and Agatangeghos Streets, concluding at the “Zoravar Andranik” metro station.
The return journey will follow Agatangeghos, Gr. Lusavorich, and Argishti Streets, crossing the Victory Bridge, Athens Street, and returning to the “Hrazdan” Stadium.
Route 2: “Hrazdan” Stadium to “Barekamutyun” Metro Station
The second route will also start from the “Hrazdan” Stadium, traversing Tsitsernakaberd Highway, Kirk Kerkorian, and Kievyan Streets, and ending at the “Barekamutyun” metro station. The return trip for this route will follow the same path.
These arrangements are part of the city’s efforts to support citizens in observing the solemn occasion of the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, ensuring that all who wish to pay their respects at the memorial can do so without transportation hindrances.
