YEREVAN, September 2 – On September 1, 2026, Sergey Kopyrkin, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Armenia, attended the festive line-up marking Knowledge Day at Secondary School No. 21 of the Russian Ministry of Defense in Yerevan. The event celebrated the beginning of the new academic year, bringing together students, faculty, and distinguished guests.

The Ambassador also extended special wishes to the eleventh-graders, who are preparing for their final year. “Of course, my special wishes go to the eleventh-graders, future graduates. I wish that this year will be a successful, productive stage in preparing for the realization of the goals you set for yourselves,” he added, underscoring the significance of this pivotal year for their future aspirations.

The festive event commenced with the raising of the Russian Federation’s flag and the performance of the national anthem, symbolizing the cultural and educational ties between the two nations.
