Yerevan, May 27 – To ensure the safety of participants in the Republic Day celebrations, several streets in Yerevan will be subject to traffic restrictions from May 26 to May 28. These measures are being implemented to facilitate the smooth conduct of events marking the national holiday.

Detailed Traffic Restrictions: May 26-28

On May 26, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, traffic was restricted in the section of Athens Street – Mashtots Avenue – Amiryan Street. Additionally, the section of Tigran Mets Avenue – Mher Mkrtchyan Street – Khorenatsi Street – Italy Street – the former “Capital” regiment area was closed.

From 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on May 26, the intersection of Kristapor Street – Tigran Mets Avenue was closed. The section from Athens Street to Tigran Mets Avenue – Agathangelos Street – Grigor Lusavorich Street – Argishti Street – Athens Street was also affected.

On May 28, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, all the aforementioned road sections will be closed. The section of Republic Square – Tigran Mets Avenue – Kristapor intersection will remain closed until May 29, 1:00 AM.

These temporary closures are expected to impact daily commutes and local traffic flow. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their routes in advance and consider alternative transportation methods during the specified times.
