YEREVAN, August 15, 2026 – A significant traffic accident took place today in Yerevan, involving a Tesla and a Kia. The collision occurred around 03:40 AM at the intersection of Azatutyan Avenue, Nersisyan, and Mamikonyants streets, near the Arabkir police station.

Following the impact, the Tesla veered off the roadway, striking concrete curbs, an iron fence, and an emergency terminal, destroying them. It then hit three trash cans filled with garbage, placed by the “Yerevan Waste Management and Sanitary Cleaning Service,” scattering their contents.
