Civil Aviation Committee Announces Upcoming International Flights
Yerevan, July 15, 2020 – The Civil Aviation Committee of the Republic of Armenia has released information regarding several international flights scheduled for July 16 and 17, facilitating travel to and from Yerevan amidst ongoing global travel restrictions. These flights aim to provide essential connections for citizens and foreign nationals.
Flight Schedule for July 16-17
On July 16, 2020, a Minsk-Yerevan-Minsk flight will be operated by Belavia, with arrival in Yerevan at 02:45 and departure at 03:35. This route offers a crucial link for travelers between the two capitals.
Also on July 16, an Icelandair flight from Los Angeles to Yerevan and then to Boston is scheduled to arrive in Yerevan at 11:50. The departure from Yerevan to Boston will take place on July 17 at 08:50, providing a transatlantic connection.
A Moscow-Yerevan flight, operated by Red Wings, is also slated for July 16, with an estimated arrival time in Yerevan at 21:40, addressing the demand for travel between Russia and Armenia.
Furthermore, on July 17, a Kyiv-Yerevan-Kyiv flight by SKYUP Airlines is scheduled, with arrival in Yerevan at 03:20 and departure at 04:20, catering to passengers traveling between Ukraine and Armenia.
New Self-Isolation Rules for Arrivals
The Civil Aviation Committee also reminded that, effective June 23, Armenian citizens arriving from abroad and foreign citizens permitted to enter the Republic of Armenia are obliged to independently arrange their transportation from the airport and land border checkpoints to their designated self-isolation locations. This measure is part of the country’s efforts to manage the spread of COVID-19.
