The National Pickleball Association of Armenia (NPAA) reported that the team’s debut in Florida was a significant and proud moment for Armenian sports. Despite being a young team from a country where pickleball is still developing, Armenia secured the 33rd position among 68 participating nations. This achievement demonstrated the team’s substantial potential, passion, and drive to compete at an international level.
The experience gained at the World Cup in Florida provided Armenian players with invaluable knowledge, new connections, and confidence for future growth. Upon returning home, the team intensified its preparation, conducting regular training sessions, developing team play, and refining individual skills. This rigorous preparation is expected to yield even better results in the upcoming tournament.

Mihrtad Ghazazyan, President of the National Pickleball Association of Armenia, and Alexander Andranikyan, team captain, highlighted that the World Cup in Vietnam is a new opportunity to demonstrate the spirit, character, and dedication of Armenian athletes to the world. “Our goal is to continue to improve and proudly represent our country,” they stated.
