Yerevan, April 16 – During a question-and-answer session in the National Assembly on Wednesday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the new opportunities for Armenian citizens, particularly focusing on affordable air travel. He specifically mentioned flights from Gyumri to Larnaca, Cyprus.
Pashinyan: Gyumri-Larnaca Tickets for 2 Euros
Prime Minister Pashinyan stated that one-way tickets from Gyumri to Larnaca are available for as low as 2 euros, which is approximately 900 drams. He emphasized that this affordability makes international travel accessible even for pensioners, who could potentially purchase five round-trip tickets with their increased pensions.
“For Sunday, there is a ticket to Larnaca for 2 euros, meaning a one-way air ticket from Gyumri to Larnaca is 900 drams. A pensioner can buy five round-trip tickets with their increased pension,” Pashinyan said, highlighting the opportunities created.
He then humorously added, “Maybe it has already become more expensive… we advertised it, the price went up – 2.19 euros,” acknowledging the potential for price fluctuations.
