Yerevan, March 25 – A significant multi-car accident occurred in Yerevan on the evening of March 23, 2026. The collision, which involved four vehicles, took place on the road leading from Heratsi Tunnel to Khanjyan Tunnel, in front of Novella Hall. The incident, reported around 9:00 PM, involved a Volkswagen driven by 31-year-old Sergey Kh. from Ararat region, a BYD driven by 36-year-old Davit B. from Yerevan, a Lexus driven by 39-year-old Hovsep P. from Yerevan, and a Nissan driven by 58-year-old Artur S., also from Yerevan. Intoxicated Driver Identified

The driver of the Nissan was found to be under the influence of alcohol, with the highest degree of intoxication. As a result, his driving license has been suspended for one year. Preliminary information suggests that the Nissan crossed into oncoming traffic, leading to the chain-reaction collision with the other vehicles.
