Yerevan, October 7 – This year marks the 100th anniversary of the construction of Yerevan’s Republic Square. In this symbolic year, a comprehensive modernization of the square’s fountain complex is planned.

Fountains to Receive Significant Technical Upgrade

After nearly 20 years, the technical systems of the fountains have significantly worn out, and their capabilities have become limited. The current system does not provide for the full application of modern water, light, and sound effects, and updating the musical program is technically difficult.

As part of the new project, the fountains’ technical systems will be completely modernized with the involvement of the French company Aquatique Show International, which has many years of international experience.

New Capabilities and Dynamic Shows

As a result, new modern water, light, and sound capabilities will be created, and the fountains’ program can be regularly updated, presenting new shows and content.

Thus, the Republic Square fountains will receive new technical capabilities, maintaining their important place and role in the image of Yerevan’s main square.
