Yerevan, September 21 – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, on behalf of the United States, congratulated the people of Armenia on their Independence Day. The statement, released today, marks the 35th anniversary of Armenia’s restored independence.

“The United States shares with Armenia the joy of the 35th anniversary of the restoration of independence and highly appreciates the progress your country has made on the path to building a more peaceful, prosperous, and democratic future. He further expressed optimism for the continued implementation of the “Trump’s Path for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP) initiative, aiming to strengthen economic ties, attract American investments, and create new opportunities for Armenia and the entire region.
